I love giving a homemade gift. One gift I started making was various mason jar cookie mix recipes. Simply put your favorite recipe in the jar, tie with a ribbon or some holiday fabric and make it a cute DIY gift. You can use recipies for cookies, brownies or even fill will pancake mix and chocolate chips. To finish it off you could write out and attach the full recipe attached with a ribbon or twine.

You will want to make sure you have large enough mason jars. I used 12oz jars but I think it would fit better and look a little nicer in a larger jar. These 16 oz jars would be perfect. Simply layer each dry ingredient and close tightly. Attach the recipe with a list of additional wet ingredients that may be needed to add.
