Love is in the air. That beautiful fall crisp air. I’m attending a wedding this coming week and am so excited to dress up! Of course that means it’s time to shop for a fall wedding guest dress. Between quarantine/Covid the past few months, there haven’t been many (if any) times I’ve dressed up. I’m happy my cousin is still able to have her wedding this year, as I know it’s been a hard planning time for most brides/grooms. It’s going to be a small family wedding, but boy am I excited to have something to dress up for!

What to look for?
What to look for in a fall wedding guest dress? I like to find something that is dressy for a wedding, but still something I would be able to wear on a nice date night or girls night out so I have multiple uses for the dress. For an autumn wedding I’m looking for fall/earthy tones.
I have had great success with Red Dress Boutique. The dress I plan to wear for my cousins wedding is from there. I went with a dusty blue color, as its great for transitioning into fall but could be worn throughout the year. Like i said, I want to be able to get multiple uses out of the dress. (If you are shopping Red Dress Boutique, you get a 10% discount when you sign up for their emails).
You can never go wrong with a little black dress.
Express is another go-to of mine. You can generally always find a coupon for Express as well (online/mail/email) or the site is offering a great sale. I love this little black dress with flutter sleeves. The sleeves are fun and the waistband makes for a flattering look. Definitely a look you could wear for a wedding and again for a date night!
Need a dress in a hurry?
Last year, I was in a pinch for time on ordering a dress and wanted something that would ship quick. Of course I turned to trusty Amazon for that fast shipping. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this dress. I love the lace, and thought the deep red color was great for fall and also for the holidays. Best of all the item was prime and got it in two days.
Check out my post on how to give yourself an at home blow-out, for a quick and easy hair style. I hope this helps in finding the perfect fall wedding or date night dress!

We have had a few people in our lives get married during the pandemic but, so far, no weddings to go to. They are keeping it intimate for safety reasons 🙂 I do agree with that advice of getting something you can wear again. Single-use dresses just do not seem like a great idea.
Crazy times!! The wedding was limited number of people due to the pandemic, but it was still very nice! It made for an intimate ceremony.
