You don’t have to have a huge wardrobe to change up your look and get numerous outfits out of the same pieces. In this point I am styling 9 pieces of clothing, and making over 15 outfits. I made 15, however there are many more possibilities with mixing it up.
I found the best way for me to make multiple outfits from the same pieces, is to have a few fun/pattern pieces, and then multiple solid color pieces that can go with various items. Change up the look by playing around with switching in and out different shoes, changing your top, or adding a coat.
Of course, I had to incorporate some animal print into my look. I am still loving the animal prints and will ride this trend til it dies. I love this set. It is actually a two piece set, that you can wear together to give the appearance of a dress, or as a skirt and shirt separate. Items like this are great for mix and matching to get various looks. I loved the fit of these, and they do fit true to size. I got a medium in both the top and bottom. The skirt is a little on the shorter end, but it does come in options for regular, tall and petite.

Easily transition the top piece of the separate and make various outfits. You Can transition these for work appropriate outfits if you work in an office setting, or dress it down for a more casual look. The white ripped denim I’m wearing is sold out but I linked a similar option and a non ripped option. these denim shorts I sized up two sizes to a 10.
Next up, style the skirt piece of the two piece separate. Dress it up with a a tucked in look, or you could tie up a t-shirt and wear with a jean jacket. Dress it down even more pairing with white sneakers instead of sandals or booties.
Change up the skirt by pairing the same tops with another patterned skirt or denim shorts. I chose a floral skirt for spring and also added a pretty lavender colored sweater to pair with the skirt. Size up in this skirt!! I sized up two sizes in this for the best fit in the waist and length.
Now, you can repeat all these same tops with the jean shorts. These are my FAVORITE jean shorts. They are so flattering, and only $15.00. They are often on sale cheaper than that as well. They come in various colors of denim as well as black and white. This brand runs small, definitely size up!! One up at least, I sized up two for comfort. I am a true size 6 and got these in a 10 for the best fit.
Pair up the sweater and ribbed t-shirts again with the white jeans for additional, more work appropriate outfits. Dress them up with loafers or heels.
Easily transition a few staple pieces into so many looks! I hope you had fun! Let me know in the comments what you’d like to see styled in the future!
